It has afforded me the opportunity to walk into a door that, as a recent graduate, many individuals do not receive. I had the assistance of not only sorors, but also GE employees who had my best interest at heart and helped me sort through which program best fits my educational background, personality and skill set. Additionally, the cohort I am a part of became a network within itself to advance my connections within the Sorority and with several other sorors who share similar career paths. Accomplishments: Since becoming a part of this program, I have been extended an opportunity to apply for employment and I graduated from the Centennial Cohort Class during the Midwest Regional Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, which was a special experience.
