Leadership DELTA gave me the opportunity to learn from GE leaders who have navigated their way through very successful career paths. These leaders shared how they weathered the storms of mistakes and adversity and how they were able to ultimately achieve success. I have gained great mentoring relationships that have helped me throughout my career as well. Accomplishments: Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) Graduate Growth and Innovation Award A’Rielle Gatlin Financial Management Program, GE Appliances Alma Mater: Southern Methodist University (Nu Iota Chapter) Major/Career Path: Accounting Years with GE: 7 months How did your Leadership DELTA experience prepare you for your career with GE? While attending Leadership DELTA in 2012, I was matched with an awesome mentor who introduced me to the Financial Management Program, and was able to tap into a network of Delta women that encourage personal and leadership development, and ultimately want to see you succeed. Working in Delta prepared me for my career by providing the opportunity to lead, plan, and execute projects while instilling a spirit of teamwork and efficiency, attributes that are key when starting a career.
