TAYLOR M.A.D.E - Suited to Serve

M. Motivating a New Movement for the Next Generation

  • Increase the use of strategic social media campaigns to drive social action initiatives
  • Encourage chapters to implement these National and Regional campaigns through their chapter Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media accounts

A. Aiding Delta’s International Awareness Programs

  • Establish an international fundraiser, “The Red Collection: Clothing Deltas to Clothe a World,” to be implemented at the chapter level during Collegiate Transition Month, to raise money for Delta’s International programs
  • Coordinate a joint project between collegiate and alumnae chapters to bring new or gently used Delta paraphernalia or business attire to be sold at the sorority meeting with unsold business attire donated to charity

D. Developing DeltaCareerConnection.org

  • Provide sorors with a secure online resource for information on career and internship opportunities in collaboration with the Technology and Scholarship and Standards committees
  • Allow sorors to create a personal profile that highlights their expertise and experience
  • Utilize our Delta network to build our professional connections throughout the world

E. Enhancing the Delta Transition to Alumnae Chapters

  • Develop a transition module in the Membership Intake process that focuses on lifetime membership
  • Promote open dialogue about membership in alumnae chapters during Membership Intake to include the alumnae chapter experience and how to make a positive transition
  • Support the existing efforts of the Collegiate Transition Taskforce to increase the number of collegiate sorors who transition to alumnae chapters
