Following the 52nd Nation-al Convention, we were receptive to change and we vowed to recommit to a lifetime of scholarship, sister-hood and service. Each day it is our duty to embody the traits and fulfill the vision that our twenty two colle-giate founders had for our organiza-tion. No matter the occasion, circum-stance, or opportunity as collegiate members we must be reminded that we are SUITED to Serve as women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Suited to Serve: Your commitment to ser-vice, your talents, and dedi-cation are what makes you a valuable asset to our orga-nization. Be mindful of the fact that you are equipped with all the skills necessary to have a lasting impact on the community. I challenge you to utilize the resourc-es around you and to be ea-ger to be a change agent. So SUIT up and get to work! TAYLOR M.A.D.E Just as a tailor who dili-gently stitches together their final product. I believe that you are all uniquely created. It is important that as collegiates we must recognize our strengths and capabilities in order to serve others to the best of our abili-ty. As we grow as women in the orga-nization and on our campuses we will continue to find our place so that we may contribute to the success of our sisterhood. Be excited about the op-portunities that stand before you and know that you are TAYLOR MADE for whatever encounters you may have on your journey. NOW THAT WE ARE IN OUR TAYLOR M.A.D.E SUITS My vision for the collegiate chap-ters is for us to continue to nur-ture relationships between chapter members and advisors, in-crease the collegiate transi-tion, and to remain active in social action through vari-ous platforms. We must chal-lenge ourselves to step away from the norm and work to-wards reaching our goals as the collegiate leaders in our organization. I see us work-ing together to reinvent the image of collegiate chapters. Remember, you can use me as a resource! I am a colle-giate too and I am committed to making sure your voice is heard.. WE are the tailors to our TAYLOR MADE goals…so let’s come together to create our Masterpiece. s Soror Taylor McCain, National Second Vice President, with the collegiate regional leadership team.
